Alison started her career in Chinese medicine by graduating from Boston University with a degree in biology. While at Boston University, she was a pre-med student, always knowing she wanted to help those with acute and chronic illnesses. Wanting to heal patients in a more natural and holistic way, she chose acupuncture school over medical school. Alison studied at the New England School of Acupuncture, where she accrued over 1,900 didactic and clinical hours of Chinese and Japanese style acupuncture, herbal medicine, and orthopedic acupuncture. Her specialties include digestive issues and orthopedic pain, though she enjoys treating any conditions that you bring to the treatment table.

Alison also holds a certification in facial rejuvenation acupuncture (FRA), or cosmetic acupuncture, from world-renowned specialist Michelle Gellis, creator or the AcuLift Derma Roller. Alison uses proven techniques that reduce lines and wrinkles but also correct any underlying imbalances that are accelerating the aging process.

By guiding her patients with lifestyle and dietary changes, along with exercises and mindfulness practices, Alison provides compassionate care in every session. She loves working with patients as a team to support them on their journey to health and wellness.
